First-gen graduate of UCSD in Communication, Jocelyn has spent 5 years working in college education sectors. She knows where all the roadblocks are and how to go around them.

Previously a financial analyst and auditor, Julie was Professor of Accounting at San Diego City College for 18 years.  She assists the founders of Build-a-Miracle where she also volunteers.

A Certified Independent College Counselor and UCSB Application Reader, Allison is a tireless giver-helper-inspirer-guide-and-mentor, and spends many weekends serving with Build a Miracle in Mexico.

Katie brings a background in Graduate Admissions, 5 years of grant writing, and  a passion for helping low-income and first-gen students with resources to graduate from college.  She is currently a Graduate Admissions Counselor for University of Illinois, Chicago.

A Certified Independent College Counselor with both a BA and Ph.D. in Psychology, Jackie has a heart for those who struggle most and calls them all her children.
